Job description
As a Training Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic environment in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will supervise and manage training in accordance with our processes, manuals and training philosophy. You will also be an important part in each course participant's learning journey by empowering them to be successful within their field.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Teaching and coaching students in classrooms and simulators
- Follow-up on student performance
- Managing and supporting simulator instructors in their daily work
- Producing and developing teaching material
- Taking part in training related tasks such as development of training tools, internal projects, consultancy services etc.
You will be based at our HungaroControl's premises in Budapest where you will deliver the training.
We are hiring for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025.

Your team
You’ll be joining a dynamic team of training experts, including the Head of Training, skilled instructors from across Europe, a dedicated training administrators, and a system specialist!

Your background
- Background as Air Traffic Controller with minimum of three years of operational experience
- 340 license
- Experience from training is an advantage
- Multiple ratings are considered an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English (speaking and writing)
- Common knowledge of Microsoft Office
You are an open-minded and positive person with a passion for education and training. You have a flexible approach and adapt quickly to changes. You make things happen by taking initiative and are structured and organised in your way of working. Working with people is central in this role so your collaboration skills and team focus will be of great importance.
