Entry Point North is one of the largest Air Traffic Service academies globally. The academy was established in Malmö, Sweden 2005 and it educates primarily Air Traffic Controllers. Entry Point North has subsidiaries in Ireland (Shannon and Dublin), Hungary (Budapest), Spain (Madrid), Denmark (Copenhagen) and Belgium (Brussels).

Entry Point North Belgium is a joint venture between Entry Point North and Belgian Air Navigation Service Provider, skeyes. It was established in 2018 and is based at Brussels Airport, with the objective of providing world class training and services to aspiring and operational air traffic controllers and other air traffic services related personnel of skeyes as well as external clients.

We are looking for new Training & Development Specialists who are ready to take-off with us!

Job description 

As a Training & Development Specialist, you will be working in an innovative environment in close collaboration with your colleagues. Your main responsibilities will be to lecture courses in Air Traffic Management. You will supervise and manage training in accordance with company manuals, supervise and manage participants of the various courses. We are looking for ATCOs with an interest in delivering Initial Training, Instructor and Assessor training and/or Human Factors/Safety Training. In addition, you will develop new modules, courses and other services according to customer requests.

You will be based in Brussels where you will deliver the training as well as other destinations decided by our customers. This includes:

  • Teaching and instructing students in classroom and simulators
  • Follow-up on student performance
  • Managing and supporting simulator instructors in their daily work
  • Producing, developing and maintaining teaching material
  • Taking part in training related tasks such as development of training tools, internal projects, consultancy services etc.

We are hiring for full-time positions starting as soon as possible until at least December 2021.

  • ATCO license from an EU country in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 within at least one rating and at least 3 years of operational experience as Air Traffic Controller.
  • Multiple ratings are considered an advantage
  • Preferably an OJTI and/or Assessor endorsement
  • At least two years of experience of various roles related to the area of teaching is recommended.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (speaking and writing)
  • Knowledge of French or Dutch are a plus
  • Common knowledge of Microsoft Office

As travelling comes with this position, you will have to be willing and able to travel for both short and longer assignments.
